Tower Adventurer iSUP Product Description

The Tower Adventurer inflatable stand up paddle board is 9’10” and, when inflated, is extremely rigid, making it very similar to a hard board. It represents a giant leap forward for these types of boards because it’s 6” thick instead of the standard 4”, making it float higher. It can be inflated up to 15 PSI but is still ready to ride at 10 PSI and, at the same time maintains a weight limit of up to 400 lbs on water so you can still ride the waves easily.

Another important plus is that the Adventurer inflatable stand up paddle board board has a smart design. The material is highly durable, military-grade PVC and drop-stitch construction, making it an important and loyal companion during your trips for a very long time. The deck pad is diamond grooved for comfort and security, and has two fins attached to the sides which can be used for surf or rivers.

Even though the stand up paddle board is 9’10” x 32” x 6” inflated, it’s also only 1 foot in diameter and 33” wide when rolled up, making it very easy to store and transport. This package doesn’t come with a bag, but whether you’re on a boat or a car, it can easily fit everywhere and you’ll be able to transport it like a sleeping bag.

This board is very useful for SUP beginners who are learning to navigate calm waters or for those who like to enjoy some exercise, swim and relaxation in places without too much wind, like lakes and some rivers.

Setting up the Adventurer iSUP

The Adventurer iSUP package includes a 3-piece adjustable aluminum paddle, attached with D-rings (not just sewn on), so it tends to be sturdier and lighter than expected. There is a valve for inflation and the pump is pretty effective as it only takes a few minutes to fully inflate the board; however some people do prefer to use a pump to save some time and effort. The center of the Adventurer inflatable stand up paddle board has a convenient handle. There is also a removable fin which is large enough for comfortable paddling on flat water. You need to attach the center fin if you plan on paddling in flat water so bear in mind that you have to be careful with the hex screw included. It is, however, easy to attach the fin and it is very solid once screwed in tightly. If you have difficulties with this sort of thing, the instruction manual is very helpful.

Overall, the Tower Adventurer is a solid iSUP that can carry up to 400 lbs., so it’s made to be resistant, durable, comfortable and practical. While very rigid, the air does cushion your feet a lot more than a hard board, no matter how good the deck pad is. In general, it’s ideal for flat water, exercise and other undemanding options like having a fun day with your family without the risk of damaging or breaking your board, and enjoying the peace and bliss that only water can give you.

Tower Paddle Boards

Already with loads of success under their belt, Tower Paddle Boards burst onto the scene in 2012 with their appearance on Shark Tank. After a less than stellar pitch (watch the video, you’ll understand), tech mogul Mark Cuban invested $150K for 30% of the company and the rest was history.

According to Forbes, Tower Paddle Boards revenues have ballooned to over $5 million in 2014 and all by following two simple rules:

  1. Provide the highest quality SUP boards and packages on the market.
  2. Keep costs down by selling directly to consumers.
